It was the curse that attracted Kindred to New Haven. First the Tremere came to study the no power zone. Then the Independents, seeking a safe place from the oppression of the sects - or possibly just somewhere they could feel human again. The other clans of the Camarilla followed, and finally, the Sabbat.
The No Power Zone represents both a place where Humanity can be almost restored, and also a place of vulnerability. There, the Neonate is on the same footing as the Elder. The Beast is subdued. The call of the Blood almost non-existant. Healing impossible. Ambushes more effective. Final Death much more imminent.
The No Power Zone also represents the border between the Camarilla and Sabbat territories. The hostilities are muted, and it breeds an atmosphere ripe for Independents to move about more freely than they normally would.
But will you risk becoming vulnerable to cross the No Power Zone? Will you find yourself caught up in the struggle between The Camarilla and the Sabbat? Or will you simply stay out of their way?
