The No Power Zone of New Haven has caught the eye of many supernaturals and at least one corporation. Pentex has recently opened a small tester business in New Haven. Its employees are special, however: a Fomori team that works in the shadows. Sent in to do reconnaissance, as they are expendable, these bane ridden warriors don't know what they will find. The mission is to find out who or what is pulling the strings in this city. Collect specimens, do research, and above all prepare the way for the future. A future that no one in the city is prepared for.
In the meantime, there are rumors and whispers of another force, a covert arm of Pentex that has also cast its eye over the city. People speak in hushed voices of a mysterious figure known only as the Director, but nobody knows who he is, or what he wants. Perhaps he is only a myth -- if he's real, nobody in Pentex is talking.
