The Bastet. Always a curious people, and when a whole area of land becomes a zone where no powers work, their whiskers set twitching. The Folk have been careful not to rouse the attention or the tempers of those that would see them dead. The wolf changers have warred on them twice now, and some, like the Khan, haven't the numbers to spare another War of Rage. And so the Bastet walk silently as they explore this new riddle, sticking to the city, far from the territory that the wolves have claimed.
The Folk have discovered that the zone of no powers effects the other races too, and many others have come to study the strange phenomenon. So many delicious new secrets, all so close together. Its a temptation that no one could resist. There are bragging rights to be had here, there are hidden things to learn, and so even though the danger is great, the Folk come.
