New Haven is an extremely dark, foggy place. Even during daylight hours, the sun doesn't shine on the city. This means that vampires are able to operate during the day, but with book restrictions. (Please see the books for specifics.)
Also, this means that there is little vibrant plant life within the city. Those plant lifeforms that exist are drab and rundown, lacking the sunlight that they need to be healthy. Please make sure that your descs reflect this when you are working on your building projects.
